Australia doubles its GAVI commitment to US$ 58 million over three years

With a new pledge of A$ 60 million (US$ 58 million) over three years, the Government of Australia doubled its previous commitment to the GAVI Alliance on Wednesday and set the pace for other donors at a meeting in New York.

Pfizer vaccine receives AMC approval

The AMC Secretariat at the GAVI Alliance is pleased to announce that the Independent Assessment Committee of the Advance Market Commitment (AMC) for pneumococcal disease has approved Pfizer's pneumococcal vaccine Prevenar 13, as eligible for purchase pursuant to the AMC terms and conditions.
