Shot@Life, a campaign of the United Nations Foundation, connects and empowers Americans to champion global vaccines as one of the most effective ways to save the lives of children in developing countries.

Curating @Vaccines this week are three Shot@Life Champion Leaders and the campaign’s Senior Communications Officer.  The group looks forward to an amazing week of #UNGA global vaccine conversation.

Here’s a little more about the group:

Paula Kiger

Paula Kiger believes her Twitter bio says it best: wife of one, mom of two, friend of many. She has been a Shot at Life Champion since 2013 and a Shot at Life Champion Leader since 2014. Her experience with the Florida Healthy Kids program convinced her of the power of prevention domestically, and she feels strongly that all children worldwide should be afforded the same peace of mind and opportunities to thrive that children in the U.S. have. Paula has traveled to Central America to see first-hand the challenges faced by children and families in developing countries. She currently works for Weaving Influence and the Lead Change Group and shares her views on the world via her blog, Perspicacity.

Nicole Morgan

Nicole Morgan is a once retired marketing expert now back in the game with the gift of the gab, huge fundraising experience and a heart for social good. Offering unlimited advice in infertility, adoption, travel, and parenting, Sisters From Another Mister was founded – a website encompassing women in all stages of life from all over the world, joining together to support, endorse, promote and make a difference. With stories of loss, the trials of separation, tales from the underbelly of divorce and a ‘it is what it is’ approach to moving onward and upward – there is a way to connect no matter where you may be. A world traveling, liberal homeschooling Mama of two blog fodder providing cherubs by day. Writer at heart. Tweeter by compulsion. Blogger by night. A storyteller in every sense of the word.

Elizabeth Atalay

Elizabeth Atalay has traveled throughout the world in pursuit of her passion for anthropology, ethnographic film and photography.  After taking a break for local adventures she founded www.Documama.org to use her background as a documentarian in a new medium.  Between travels Elizabeth worked in film production on feature films, TV commercials, and TV series.  Elizabeth is a Social Good Senior Editor at worldmomsblog.com, a member of the Global Team of 200, a ONEMoms Community Partner and a Shot@Life Champion Leader.
