Chhatra Karki is a Kathmandu-based freelance science journalist who covers health, environmental issues, climate change, disasters, science, technology, and related fields. He is the founding president of the Nepal Forum of Science Journalists (NFSJ) and a former vice president of the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ-2023-2025). In recognition of his contributions to science journalism, he received the Science and Technology Journalism Award from the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) in 2022 and the Science Journalism Award from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in 2024.
