Since its inception in 2000, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance has helped to immunise an entire generation – more than one billion children. Vaccines have helped people enjoy a healthy childhood and empowered individuals to pursue their dreams.

As we approach the Global Vaccine Impact Conference in Madrid from 13–15 June 2023, Gavi has collaborated with ten professional photographers to document this "Generation Immunity".

Their inspiring images vividly portray the resilience and determination of people across the world and how they have been affected by the life-saving power of vaccines.

The images, which will be exhibited in Madrid and Geneva, are a poignant reminder of the fundamental right to health and the imperative to build a prosperous future for generations to come.
