Beth Arthy is the Deputy Permanent Representative (Global Health) at the UK Mission in Geneva and the UK Representative to the Global Health Boards, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
Ms Arthy has held senior multilateral, policy and board positions across a wide range of sectors and geographies since 2000, formally with the UK Department for International Development and now with the FCDO. She has worked in East and Southern Africa, the Middle East, most recently as Country Director in Tanzania.
Before joining the UK civil service, Ms Arthy worked with several development and environmental NGOs. Ms Arthy has an MPhil in Environment and Development from the University of Cambridge, and an MA in History from the University of Edinburgh.
