President of Emerging Markets, Pfizer

Nick Lagunowich is the President of Emerging Markets (EM) within Pfizer’s International Commercial Division. In this role, he leads more than 5,000 colleagues focused on bringing breakthroughs that change patients’ lives to Latin America, Asia, Africa, Russia, Turkey and the Middle East. Under his leadership, EM innovates and collaborates with governments, non-governmental organizations, healthcare providers, patient advocates and others to expand access to Pfizer’s portfolio in core therapeutic areas, including vaccines, oncology, inflammation and immunology and internal medicine.

In his more than 25 years with Pfizer, Mr Lagunowich has made substantial contributions to the company across various therapeutic areas and geographies. Previously, he served as the Global President for Pfizer Internal Medicines, overseeing more than 200 brands in multiple therapy areas and leading more than 5,000 colleagues worldwide. He also served as the Executive Commercial Lead focused on transforming the way Pfizer colleagues engage with patients and physicians to deliver more breakthroughs to patients, faster and with more precision.

Other previous roles include the Regional President of North America for Rare Disease, Regional President of North America for Internal Medicine. He also served as the General Manager and Business Unit Lead of Pfizer’s Essential Health Business in Australia and New Zealand and the U.S. Adult Vaccine Lead.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
