Amy LaTrielle is Chief Grants Management Officer (CGMO) at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. In this role, Amy leads Gavi’s newly established Grants Management Department, which is accountable for transforming Gavi’s grants management framework to optimise its grant-making operations, processes and systems and ensure full alignment with Gavi’s mission and strategy.
Amy brings nearly three decades of experience designing, overseeing and implementing complex grants across a wide range of settings, from village and country levels to global platforms. She joined Gavi in 2021 as Director of Fragile & Conflict Countries, leading Gavi’s differentiated approach to complex and humanitarian settings.
Prior to joining Gavi, Amy served as Vice President for Global Operations at Population Services International (PSI), overseeing large, multi-country grant portfolios across Africa, Asia and Latin America. She also founded and led PSI’s global Operational Excellence (OpEx) Department to drive performance, accountability and impact across all grant types and donors worldwide.
Amy has held senior leadership roles in both country and headquarters teams, including in Mali, Nigeria, Uganda and Nepal. Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in history and French, and master of business administration (MBA).
