Since its inception 25 years ago, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance has protected a whole generation – over 1.2 billion children – against infectious diseases, helping to halve child mortality in the countries it supports. Despite significant progress, over 10 million children a year born in lower-income countries still don’t receive even a single vaccine. Help us to reduce the number of so-called ‘zero-dose’ children and immunise at least 500 million more children.
Gavi’s unique alliance model brings together the expertise and reach of the global health community, the implementing power of partner governments, the resources and support of donor governments and foundations, the community-level knowledge and advocacy of civil society, and the innovation and know-how of the private sector.
We are far stronger together than apart.
