We use a set of indicators and targets to track progress against our five-year strategy
Transparency and accountability are fundamental to everything that we do. Every five years, we develop a new strategy with specific goals and objectives. We use indicators and targets to measure our achievements against the strategy.
Our fourth strategic period came to an end in December 2020. Click on the 2016–2020 section to find out how we performed against our mission and strategic goal indicators.
In 2021, we embarked on a new five-year strategy. To learn more about our current indicators and targets, visit the 2021–2025 section below.
In June 2019, the Gavi Board approved a new five-year strategy (Gavi 5.0) with a vision of “Leaving no one behind with immunisation” and a mission to save lives and protect people’s health by increasing equitable and sustainable use of vaccines. We rely on a set of indicators to measure our progress against the mission and strategic goals.
