Poland became a donor to Gavi in June 2021, announcing a contribution of €750,000 (US$ 900,000) to the Gavi COVAX Advance Market Commitment (AMC). Through this contribution, Poland supported global efforts to accelerate equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines and help protect vulnerable populations during the pandemic. The partnership reflected Poland’s commitment to international cooperation, global health security, resilience to infectious disease threats and strengthening access to immunisation in lower-income countries.
