At the virtual Gavi COVAX AMC Summit, One World Protected, hosted by Japan on 2 June 2021, the Ministry of Health of Viet Nam pledged a commitment of US$ 500,000 to the Gavi COVAX AMC and another US$ 500,000 at the 2022 Gavi COVAX AMC Summit hosted by Germany. This brought Viet Nam’s total commitment to the Gavi COVAX AMC to US$ 1 million.
