Airtel Nigeria is one of the leading telecommunications service providers in the country with more than 40 million users and a variety of successful products and services across the country. As part of the company’s interest in improving digital inclusion and supporting health and immunisation, Airtel and Gavi have entered into a partnership to support the Government of Nigeria in strengthening national data systems for immunisation and primary health.

As part of this partnership, Airtel’s contribution to the project will establish the foundation for data systems and will enable health workers to transmit immunisation and primary health-related data from health facilities across the country. The e-reporting project will make regular reporting from service delivery points possible and will address the timeliness and accuracy of data for decision-making, which will be achieved by introducing digital tools for data collection and transmission.
