The Eleanor Crook Foundation (ECF) works to scale improved solutions to child undernutrition by deploying the power of research, policy analysis and advocacy, with the ultimate goal of saving children’s lives and enabling them to excel in school, work and beyond. Eleanor Crook Foundation contributed an initial donation dedicated to identifying the evidence gap in integrated nutrition and immunisation interventions.

Building on these findings, in June 2023 the Eleanor Crook Foundation announced a US$ 2 million partnership, with support from the Gavi Matching Fund, towards an implementation research project, NutriVax, which  generated evidence on the interplay between nutrition services and demand for vaccines in Nigeria. Since May 2025, similar NutriVax trials have been launched in Chad and Niger to test the successful approach in other high-malnutrition, low-immunisation settings.
