The Power of Nutrition is a charitable foundation that unites businesses, governments, investors, non-profits and change agents in a joint mission to end undernutrition in developing countries. The innovative finance and partnership model has quadrupled nutrition investments to make resources go further than one organisation could achieve alone.

The foundation currently has investments in 15 countries with high rates of undernutrition in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, with additional programmes in the pipeline. Each is aligned behind national government plans, carefully designed to deliver impact at scale, and is based around a core set of evidence-based, high-impact interventions known to improve child and maternal nutrition.

Gavi and The Power of Nutrition entered into a new partnership announced at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland in January 2023. The Power of Nutrition committed US$ 500,000 towards the joint Unilever/Gavi/The Power of Nutrition Keluarga SIGAP (‘The Ready Family’) project, which aims to improve handwashing, immunisation and nutrition in East Java and South Kalimantan provinces of Indonesia.
